High Intensity Training (HIT)What is High Intensity Training (HIT)?
The fundamentals of HIT training are that the exercise should be performed quickly and with great intensity. This concept was popularized due to the fact that trainers believed this would cause an increase in the size and strength of the body’s muscles without causing undue stress associated with heavy weightlifting.

Should You Try High Intensity Training?
Personally I like to change my routine up as much as possible. Some days I will hit the gym with heavy weightlifting in mind, some days I like to go through and do all supersets and other days I will follow a HIT principle. If you are reaching a plateau in your progress and want to try a workout routine that will break you out of your plateau than try a HIT workout. (I will list some resources below for HIT training)
