Kettlebell Single Arm Snatches

Next time you are in the gym try using a kettlebell as opposed to a dumbbell when you are performing single-arm snatches. People have reported that they have doubled their gains when compared to using a normal dumbbell says Georgetown College researchers.

How does it do this?
Just the change in the shape of a kettlebell as opposed to a dumbbell forces your core to work significantly harder. So next time you are in the gym give a kettlebell a try!

How to perform kettlebell single arm snatches

1. Grab a kettlebell with one hand and stand holding it in front of you just below your bent knees.

2. In one movement jump up as you propel the weight overhead while keeping it close to your body.

3. When coming down from your jump your knees should be slightly bent with your arm raised.

4. Lower the weight slowly back to the starting position and repeat for your desired number of reps.
